Mother Sanctuary Retreat
Mother Sanctuary Retreat
Come to the heart of the Kent Countryside and walk away after the weekend feeling:
Reconnected to yourself
Peaceful
Grounded
Empowered
Clearer and lighter
With an overall sense of calm.
“Cat led us in the Yoga Nidra, and accompanied us on our swims and walks, with such compassion and grace and created a profoundly warm and safe space where we could heal what needed to be healed, and reconnect with our joy, creativity and passion.
I left feeling centred, grounded and calm with a treasure trove of funny memories. I can not wait to go back!”
Lucy
What can you expect?
Connection through sisterhood
The saying goes, ‘We may not have it together but together we have it all’ – We believe there is no greater power than a group of women together. The group is kept small and no more than 10 gather so to create a cohesive group of feminine souls that together can unite, connect and laugh.
Nourishment through food
Organic, homemade vegetarian food is the basis of our menu to fill you up with nothing but nourishment and vitamins. Homemade bread, smoothies, juices and granola for breakfast, rainbow salads and soups for lunch, while vegetarian curries and stews warm your cockles before bed. Herbal teas, oat cookies and moist carrot cake on tap when you need a pick me up.
Walks in nature
Beach and countryside walks form part of the retreat’s schedule designed to connect you further with nature and all its offerings. Take in the sea air on the dunes of Camber Sands just 15 minutes from the retreat or wonder along the scenic canal in Appledore whilst admiring the local vineyards (from a far!) – either will no doubt fill up your well and awaken your spirit.
Yoga Nidra & Breathwork
Start the weekend with a releasing breathwork session. No need for prior experience! Then enjoy some R & R and to ensure you receive the deepest, most nourishing rest your day will be top and tailed with restorative and relaxing yoga nidra (guided meditation). Simply lie down in your personal nest in the yurt where you will be surrounded by cushions, blankets, bolsters and lavender eye pillows to guarantee you maximum comfort.
Rituals to restore harmony
Each evening we gather together and create time to sit around the outdoor fire-pit while start-gazing and sipping warm organic nut milk to soothe the soul and nourish your spirit. This is the perfect opportunity to gift the fire what no longer serves you and enjoy the healing benefit of fire ceremony in connecting and restoring.
Flowers to calm, heal and express our deepest emotions
Upon arrival ,departure and each morning you will begin your day with a warm flower bath to cleanse your energy and absorb the healing benefits of the hand-picked flower petals.
Sound will be the medicine of the future
What better way to kick start your first evening with a sound bath to settle you in to the space and transport you to a magical and liminal world of healing and deep rest setting theme for the rest of the weekend.
Relax in nature
Be held by Mother Earth in the heart of a wildflower meadow in a womb like yurt. It is the ultimate escape for the hum-drum of life.

“I can’t even begin to explain what this weekend has done for me.
In short, I arrived, anxious, tired, and a bit lost and in just one weekend I came home lighter! The things that bothered me before, just don’t! I’ve learned to deal with anything life throws at me with strength and courage and I can’t thank you enough Cat for what you have done for me. “
