In the kitchen you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso machine and cookbooks for culinary inspiration during your stay.

The adjoining sitting room is a stunning space with high ceilings, pendant lighting, wooden floors and a wood burner for cosy evenings in.

Also on this floor is a downstairs bathroom with wooden flooring, bath with hand-held shower and cupboard housing a washing machine, hoover and iron.

“We loved it. Lovely space, beautiful wood burner kept us super warm, the rooms are lovely and there’s even Sonos!

It’s a lovely village and a great place to explore – we went to Camber Sands, Rye, and Dungeness and never had to drive more than 25 minutes for any of them! And we ate at The Ferry where the food was really good.”

“Cat’s house is a lovely and cozy place in a peaceful village of Appledore. We have spent the New Year’s there with our friends and our 1,5 years daughter and it was just perfect for the 4 adults and a kid. Cat has kindly provided the facilities (a crib and a high chair) for the baby and we’ve found everything we needed to stay inside as well.

The house is dog friendly so we could take our pooch with us too.

There is a lovely pub just a couple minutes away from the house, some nice scenery walking routes and you can always drive to the nearest shores and cities around.

I would totally recommend to stay at this place if you are looking for a remote but still convenient and comfortable place to stay in.”
