What is Yoga Nidra?
YOGA NIDRA IS A MYTHICAL GODDESS THAT POSSESSES SUPREME NURTURING QUALITIES & CAN BESTOW A DREAMLESS COSMIC SLEEP.
Yoga Nidra—known as yogic sleep—is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. It’s said that an hour of yoga nidra can be as restorative as four hours of regular sleep. This practice will restore your brain function due it’s ability to induce deep trance and thus deep relaxation.
Yoga nidra is like being wrapped up in a cashmere blanket by a fire and feeling fully supported, nourished and cared for. It is the epitome of self care and greatest gift of rest you can give yourself.
Yoga nidra is an effortless state of being. It is not a just a practice, but a form of awareness; not simply a technique, but a process for entering into certain states of consciousness. It is in fact not a sleep but an awakening.
